This project retrofits P Block to meet the proposed IAQ standards, integrating AI with building management system to ensure occupant safety, optimise ventilation, and reduce energy use in unoccupied spaces.

Demonstrate the feasibility of compliance monitoring for indoor air quality (IAQ) & assess the potential for retrofitting existing buildings to meet future IAQ performance standards.
This will be achieved by retrofitting QUT’s Science and Engineering Building (P Block) to:
